Redbox is a rental entertainment service provider. With streaming content dominating the market, our challenge was to retain and attain the DVD audience at the kiosk by increasing mobile subscriptions.
THE SOLUTION
We reconceived their semi-annual Days of Deals re-engagement campaign as a mobile web experience that reflected the playful attitude of the Redbox brand. These touch interactions were colorful, simple, scalable across multiple devices, and encouraged repeat visits. Mobile Wallet functionality was added for easy access and storage of different offers across multiple programs.
As the program’s success grew, we added more experiences for engagement that included Swipe and Tear Reveals, Trivia Games, and Sponsored Partnerships.
